Original Watercolour | Slithers of a Fading Landscape I, 38 X 55 cm

£425.00

Measures 380 × 550 mm, unmounted and unframed, painted on lightly textured Saunders Waterford 200gsm paper, this mixed media work is part cyanotype toned with a rosemary botanical steep, finished with light fast mineral pigment artisan pan watercolour and charcoal dust from our Autumn Equinox fire. The ferns in this piece were ethically foraged from the New Forest National Park (naturally broken bracken from were the new forest ponies have trodden)

Around 97% of England’s wildflower meadows have likely been destroyed in the last century. Fading Landscape series explores our precious landscapes fading into a memory. A story of resilience and hope, fragility and strength.

Some small elements are painted with natural pigment inks, which may fade or darken over time, this is part of the life of the work. The artwork is signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

All IP (Intellectual Property) remains with the Artist.

If you would like to receive further images or a video of the work then please email hello@irishill.co.uk If you are local to Winchester, Hampshire, UK you are also welcome to arrange a viewing.

For framing I recommend Winchester Framers on Bridge St, Winchester.
