Measures 560 × 760 mm, unmounted and unframed, painted on lightly textured Saunders Waterford 200gsm paper, elements are painted with natural pigment inks. The artwork is signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Inks - knopper gal & charcoal dust from Autumn Equinox fire.
This work, created at The Gatehouse Studios, Winchester, Hampshire, isn’t inspired by any one particular flower, but by the spirit of the wildflower itself: its fragile strength, its energy, and that beautiful moment of dipping a toe across into somewhere new.
The painting drips act as a support to uphold this wildflower. Fragility & strength in union.
All IP (Intellectual Property) remains with the Artist. Natural pigment inks, which may fade or darken over time, this is part of the life of the work.
If you would like to receive further images or a video of the work then please email hello@irishill.co.uk If you are local to Winchester, Hampshire, UK you are also welcome to arrange a viewing.
For framing I recommend Winchester Framers on Bridge St, Winchester.
